Hamas is ready to compromise

Hamas released hundreds of hostages during the ceasefire. But hundreds of Israelis are still trapped in Hamas camps. But Hamas does not make any guarantees about the release of the prisoners. Rather, there are occasional news of death. The newest name on the death list is 73-year-old American-Israeli Gadi Hagai. On October 7, the day of the Hamas attack in Israel, Hagai and his wife, Judy, were out on a morning tour of the kibbutz area. At that time they were picked up by Hamas. Judy somehow informed her friends that they had been shot and Gaddy was seriously injured. Judy is still being held by Hamas. Gadi is dead. Hamas did not return his body. The Israeli army (IDF) said 784 officers and soldiers were injured in the ground operation in Gaza. 471 people were killed. Many soldiers are also captured by Hamas. There is no hope of release at the moment. Hussam Badran, a leader of Hamas, said, “The real question that should be asked is, why are the Israelis killing our people like this? Why are they destroying our houses and property like this? They are not leaving places of worship, schools, nothing. They are not giving water, they are giving food. NoThey want to know why they are doing this without asking us.” He added, “We are not the occupiers. But the Palestinians still do not have an independent country.” Hamas leader Badran said that Palestinians are no longer afraid of Israeli threats.

Badran also claims that Israeli prisoners are not the cause of war. In his words, “Prisoner exchange could have continued. But it is not possible if the ceasefire does not continue. After that all problems can be negotiated. Can sit at the discussion table. We also gave that message through intermediaries. We are ready for prisoner exchange.
