Fears are growing in Rafah, Egypt is trying to end the war. Blood all over the face. Peel off the flesh. The hand was burnt in the explosion. The girl is raising a bloody finger. Shame on Israel. This picture has spread on social media today. People wrote in the comment box, ‘The argument of one holocaust cannot be another holocaust.’

 First, at gunpoint, North Gaza was emptied  Israeli forces. One by one they have swallowed the middle land. Houses, hospitals, everything has been dusted. After that, continuous attacks were carried out in the south, on Khan Yunis. This time the target is Rafah, the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip. More than 1 million people somehow survive by huddling in a single small area. Some have a temporary canopy of triple over their heads, some don’t. No two handfuls of food, no water. Famine, epidemic. Many people say that seeing the pictures of Gaza reminds them of the ‘concentration camps’ of the Nazi era. Israel, however, is not willing to listen to all that. Yesterday, the Egyptian delegation came to discuss the situation in Rafah, the ceasefire and the exchange of prisoners. There, Israeli officials have said that Hamas will not be able to prevent the Rafah attack by showing the prisoners. They will start the campaign in Rafah. Because Hamas militants are hiding there.

This claim of Israel is not new. When the Israeli Forces (IDF) first launched ground operations in northern Gaza, they still said there were Hamas camps there. They have shown the same reason behind the destruction of Al Shifa Hospital.

 However, Egypt is worried about Rafa-situation. Egypt after crossing the Rafah border. They fear that thousands of cornered Palestinians will infiltrate Egypt to save their lives. It will disturb the security of that country. The shadow of war and terror will fall. To avoid this situation, Egypt continues to try to reach a Hamas-Israel peace agreement. Earlier in the week, Israeli Defense Force ‘Chief of Staff’ Gen. Harji Halevi visited Cairo. Egypt’s delegation arrived in Tel Aviv yesterday. They are pressuring Israel and Hamas to reach a coexistence with prisoner exchange.

After the meeting, a top Israeli official told a Hebrew media outlet, “The talks are going well. We have targets.” He said, Egypt knows how important time is in this situation. They are not wasting time. Egypt is increasing pressure on Hamas to reach an agreement.
