Goa Shipyard will hire 38 people as Management Trainee. It is an organization under the Union Ministry of Defence. Recruitment will be done in different branches. Training first. After that 1 year probation. This recruitment notification number is 07/2023.

Category Wise Vacancy Arrangement:

Mechanical:  12 (General 4, Scheduled Caste 3, Scheduled Tribe 1, OBC 3, Economically Backward 1).

Electrical: 7 (General 2, Scheduled Caste 1, OBC 2, Economically Backward 1, Physically Handicapped 1).

Electronics: 3 (General 1, Scheduled Caste 1, OBC 1).

Naval Architecture: 10 (General 4, Scheduled Caste 1, Scheduled Tribe 1, OBC 2, Economically Backward 1, Physically Handicapped 1).

Human Resources: 3 (General 1, Scheduled Caste 1, OBC 1).

Finance: 3 (General 2, OBC 1).

Educational Qualification:

BE or B Tech in related or equivalent engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. In case of Mechanical, Mechanical Industrial Engineering or Mechanical and Production Engineering or Marine Engineering will be acceptable. For Electrical, Electrical and Electronics or Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering will be accepted. In Naval Architecture Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding or Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering or Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture Engineering will be accepted. Electronics and Communication or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control Engineering will be acceptable in Electronics.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in the field of Human Resources.Also 2 years MBA or MSW or Post Graduate Degree or Diploma with specialization in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations or Personnel Management or Labor and Social Welfare or Labor Studies or Social Work with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Must have passed Chartered Accountancy or Cost Accountancy with Graduation in Finance.

In all cases final year candidates are also eligible to apply. Age: Should be within 28 years as on 30-11-2023. Schedules will get 5 years relaxation, OBCs 3 years. Physically challenged and ex-servicemen will get age relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale: Rs.40,000-1,40,000. with other facilities. Candidates will be selected through computer-based test or paper-based test. The first part of the exam will have related subject questions (60 marks), the second part will have General Management Aptitude Test (25 marks). Time is 1 hour. Objective type will be multiple choice questions.

The application fee is Rs. 500. Fees must be deposited through SBI e-Pay through Debit Card or Credit Card or Internet Banking. After submitting the fee, take a print out of the e-receipt. Scheduled, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen need not pay the fee.
