Search for alien creatures. Are there any creatures as intelligent as or more intelligent than humans living outside the universe? Scientists are now not thinking about whether those alien creatures exist at all. Rather, when the animal will be found is now the biggest question for scientists.
In science fiction, I have read many stories about alien creatures coming down to earth and wandering around. Scientists are wondering how those animals will look if it becomes a reality. Scientists of the American space research agency NASA are using various sophisticated instruments to search for aliens. NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope recently found evidence of life on an exoplanet. And since then, NASA scientists believe that there are many more solar systems and planets like the solar system. There may be aliens there. In this context, Scotland’s astronomer Professor Catherine Theimans said, ‘We live in a universe of infinite stars and planets. So it is not right to think that we are the only intelligent beings. We have the technology and the ability to find animals that are superior to humans in everything. Maybe we’ll find aliens soon. State-of-the-art telescopes used in scientific research today can analyze the atmospheres of planets orbiting distant stars.
The same telescope recently discovered a gas in the atmosphere of a planet that is produced by marine life on Earth. Scientists call the region of the planet 120 light years away in space as the Goldilocks Zone. The star that this planet orbits is located in a location where the surface temperature is neither too hot nor too cold.
So scientists are conducting research to know more details about this planet. Within the next year, it will be possible to know whether any animals exist there or not.
The scientists are led by Nix Madhusudan, a professor at the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Astronomy. He said, ‘If the data obtained from the analysis of that planet is correct, it will change the way we think about the search for life on extraterrestrial life.’
Several other planets like Goldilocks are also being researched. NASA plans to launch a search facility called the Habitable Worlds Observatory by 2030 to find habitable planets beyond Earth. And by the end of this decade, the Extremely Large Telescope or ELT will be ready. Jupiter is the most likely planet to harbor life. Scientists have learned that Jupiter’s moon Europa is covered in ice. The surface of this satellite has seen cracks like tiger stripes. From this, scientists believe that Europa has an ocean beneath its ice-covered surface.
NASA and the European Space Agency, or ESA, plan to send spacecraft there to study Europa. Both space agencies will send spacecraft in the early 2030s. NASA’s Clipper and ESA’s spacecraft Jupiter IC Moons Explorer (JUS) will fly by Europa. In addition, NASA will also send a spacecraft called Dragonfly to land on one of Saturn’s moons. NASA scientists said that Saturn’s moon has lakes and clouds made of carbon-rich chemicals. The orange cloud has formed a blanket of fog. Besides water, NASA is sending spacecraft there to search for life because it is an essential element for life. Already, scientists believe that the samples collected from a crater by NASA’s rover on Mars do not contain living organisms on the planet. But once upon a time this planet had a dense atmosphere and oceans. It is favorable for sustaining life. But scientists are still not sure that there is no life at all. After bringing the samples collected by the rover back to Earth in 2030, it can be tested to see if life exists there at all. Even though the search for the existence of alien life has been carried out in various ways around the world, it has not been possible to create a proper idea about it. But now, with the advancement of research, scientists think that we don’t have to wait long to find life on aliens.
